How do you get more publicity? <\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

The answer is that you have to create it for yourself by attracting the media to you. You do this by building up a strong media brand. As a side benefit, while doing this, you create a powerful search engine advantage.<\/span><\/p>\n

The media have a few ways of locating sources for their articles, news stories or on air coverage and one way is working with trusted publicity firms. \u00a0Another way is that they might go looking on their own. However, this can be rare as so many “everyone is an expert” sources are\u00a0out there now so the media has to be especially savvy to pick the right, credentialed and experienced expert. And this takes time. Good for whom? One client just told me she got nothing from send out a press release via a popular news release service. And the price was high, she said. So look at outcomes. Evaluate the impact of the outcomes on what you want to achieve. Ask yourself “what do I actually get for my money”. Ask yourself, “does this media placement move me closer to my overall goals”?<\/p>\n
