Why did you decide to work with Annie Jennings PR for your publicity?
Having worked in marketing before in the technology space, I knew the value of a publicity although I had never worked with a publicist. I did my research and found Annie Jennings PR among others and dug deep. I think Annie really got me right away. The clincher was her professionalism. I have worked with CEOs who are worth millions and I have seen many professionals. Annie was a professional. She knew what needed to get done. Her energy was impressive
and that was exactly what I needed. It was a good feeling.
Did the media placements secured through Annie exceed your publicity expectations?
At first I signed on for the 18 interview radio publicity campaign and I got a lot more interviews than that. About half way through the radio campaign I signed on for the pay for performance model for print as I felt print would really help my goals. She worked within my budget and added more value as well. From an ROI point of view the pay for performance was valuable and the radio campaign was a blast. I loved doing the radio campaign and I noticed I had a lot more confidence in knowing my material a lot more which made me stronger with reporters from USA TODAY and NEWSWEEK. I feel really good about the entire publicity package.
How do you feel about your investment in publicity and the tremendous value Annie offered to you?
It was very generous of Annie. We had a fixed budget but Annie worked within my budget and that was awesome, but I also received a lot of added value. She never turned any media opportunity away because it was over my budget. The
publicity team went well beyond my expectations. I increased my budget a bit but Annie’s team still gave me tremendous extra value. I never felt squeezed for money from Annie.
How did the unlimited media training – that was included in the publicity fees – prepare you for your interviews?
It was great. The media training was great. I needed the insight into the industry and expertise that you guys had. I never thought about things like timing my response so they fit into the interviewer’s time needs. Your expertise came in the areas where I really needed it. I learned how to frame my responses, time them and make them topical so nobody felt like I was wasting anyone’s time.
What was it like working with Annie’s publicity team?
You were extremely responsive even though we were in different time zones and it was later for you. You were very professional and I never felt left out on my own.
What would you say to someone thinking of working with Annie for their publicity?

I was prepared for the costs of doing business using PR but was not prepared for how great you guys were. You all had my best interests at heart with this publicity campaign and I don’t think I would have been quite as successful as I was without you. In fact, I definitely could not have been!
